Welcome to the 2024-2025 Season!
Please join us on Saturday, September 21st from 4:30-7:00pm at Centennial Community Centre Pool in Markham for MASC’s WELCOME BACK NIGHT. Please mark those calendars and save the date! We want to ensure everyone starts the season off with success! Here’s what to expect:
SWIMMER REGISTRATION: 4:30-7:00pm
Please drop in to hand in the completed forms attached. We will have additional forms should you not have access to a printer.
PAYMENTS: 4:30-7:00pm
Our treasurer will be at a table accepting two cheques or e-transfers for the following:
- Commitment Fee/1st Installment:
This will secure your swimmer’s placement. Fees vary based on team placement.
Recreational Team: $200, Regional Team: $500, Provincial Team: $700 - Volunteer Commitment Fee:
$200, which will be reimbursed at the end of the year after completion of parent volunteer hours.
UNIFORM ORDERS: 4:30-7:00pm
A table will be set up for uniform orders should your child need to purchase anything for this upcoming season. Please ensure your swimmer is wearing a dry swimsuit so that they can try on a swimsuit and uniform over their dry suit.
TRY SYNCHRO/GAMES: 5:00-6:00pm
We’ve just found out that Centennial pool is still finishing up their maintenance and we cannot access the pool itself on the 21st BUT this is an opportunity for you and your swimmer(s) to get to know the coaches, each
other or for swimmers to reunite! Coaches will be running games/activities during this time. All new swimmers are welcome to come check out the club and ask questions. Bring your friends!
TRYOUTS
Should you be new to MASC, please let us know upon arrival. We will be happy to talk to you about our programming and can schedule a tryout with your swimmer, which will help our coaches decide on the best placement for your child this year.
MEETINGS
While swimmers are with coaches, we will be hosting a brief meeting for parents from 5:30-6:00pm. Please come out and meet our coaches between 6:00-6:30pm.
